Objective
Our aim is to provide the safest helicopter experience possible during the current Corona virus health alert. We maintain the highest levels of hygiene throughout our aircraft fleet and facilities. Protecting the health and safety of our passengers, pilots and staff is our highest priority.
Passengers
At check in, passengers will be
• Required to use the complimentary hand sanitisers provided in the check-in area.
• Temperature screened (non-invasive thermal imagery device) to measure body temperature.
• If you have a temperature above 37.5C, a second reading will be required and you may be refused entry to departure area and unable to fly on that day.
• Required to practice good respiratory hygiene at all times (including covering both nose/mouth if coughing/ sneezing) and may be politely requested leave the premises and seek medical review if presenting with any COVID-19-like symptoms.
• Informed with regard to required COVID-19 practices with relevant signage.
• Required to check-in via the ‘Checkin QLD’ smartphone app (or manually) to enable mandatory contact tracing.
• Required to practice social distancing and may be asked to wait outside to comply with physical distancing requirements.
• Asked some health-related questions as part of the check-in process to ensure we minimise any risk to other passengers and guests.
• Do you feel unwell at all or have any cold/flu-like symptoms such as shortness breath, runny nose, a cough or a sore throat?
• Do you/have you felt ‘feverish’ or recorded a temperature in the last 14 days?
• Have you visited any declared COVID ‘hot spots’ ?
• Have you had contact with anyone suspected (being tested for) or confirmed with COVID-19.
If you answer YES to any of these questions, you will be unable to fly. We ask any guest that may be feeling unwell or showing any symptoms to contact us prior to your departure date in order that we can reschedule accordingly.
• Encouraged to use contactless payment options.
Complimentary, single-use face masks are available to all guests at check-in,
which may be used throughout your trip with us - you are of course welcome to use your own.

Contact Tracing
An additional measure implemented by Zoom Helicopters in relation to the management of Covid 19 is the use of the ‘Check In QLD’ on-line, contact tracing app.
The ‘Check In QLD’ app is a digital check-in solution that helps with Covid19 contact tracing if and when required.
‘Check In QLD’ records our customers’ names, email addresses, phone numbers and date and time of visit to our facilities.
The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy (the Department) is responsible for handling your personal information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.

Our Departure Area
You will be greeted and introduced to our staff members in a contactless manner.
Cleaning and disinfecting with increased frequency in all public spaces with an emphasis on high contact surfaces.
Departure area will have an extensive deep cleaning and disinfection each night.
Guest check-in counter and payment processing machines will be sanitised after every transaction.
Company Staff
Company pilots and staff have been educated on COVID-19 protocols including appropriate handwashing and hygiene techniques, as well as being provided with PPE and training in its use.
Staff are directed to stay home if they feel unwell and to contact their manager if they notice a co-worker or guest with potential symptoms of COVID-19 infection.
Our Aircraft
Onboard:
Disposable single-use microphone covers on headsets.
Hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes on-board for passenger use.
COVID-19 PPE consisting of face masks and rubber gloves available.
Post-flight:
After each flight the helicopter cabins and interior surfaces are cleaned and disinfected in accordance with our COVID-19 checklist.
Helicopters will be deep cleaned each night, using extensive sanitisation processes.

Book to fly before 30th of September 2021 and if your plans are affected by COVID-19 interstate and/or international border and travel restrictions we will refund you in full.
