Islands, Cays and Coral jewels of the inner Great Barrier Reef
This 30-minute Cairns scenic flight departs Cairns airport and tracks out from the mainland with views of the city of Cairns and Trinity inlet, passing False Cape where you can see the remnants of WWII defences, Mt Yarrabah, Mission Bay and Cape Grafton. From there we strike out to the inner edge of the Reef and Green Island, a 6,000 year-old coral sand island that boasts its own native rainforest eco-system. Tracking to the north, we explore the western side of Arlington Reef, home to a diverse range of marine creatures – turtles, sharks and sting rays.
Continuing north we’ll circle Vlasoff Cay a tiny sand island in the middle of the reef that reduces to only a few hundred square metres in size at high tide. Book on the day or let your pilot know during your Cairns helicopter tour if you’d like to land, get your feet wet and sandy and capture the ultimate Instagram shot on the Cay. From Vlasoff Cay we head west, over Upolu Cay and back to Cairns taking in fantastic views of the North Queensland coastline framed by the lush rainforest-covered eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range.

Cancellation Policy
• In order to receive a 100% refund - Zoom Helicopters must be notified a minimum of 48 hours in advance of scheduled departure date/time. • Cancellations notified between 24 and 48 hours in advance of scheduled departure date/time qualify for a 50% refund.
• If booking is cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled departure date/time – no refund applies.
Passenger Weight Policy
• Weight variances greater than 10% of that advised at the time of booking may incur additional charges and/or luggage allowances being reduced. Zoom Helicopters reserves the right to refuse travel and charge a 100% cancellation fee.
• The maximum single seat weight limit/payload for Zoom Helicopters’ fleet of aircraft is 130 kg.
